Default Anyone Flying the Skymaster F100

Hello to all the Skymaster F100 owners. I was curious what your thoughts were regarding this bird. I'm looking for something to put a P120 into. Would pefer something somewhat scale.

Thx in advance...

Bill

I have spoke to 3 that have flown and they fly well. I will have mine up soon as I finally got my pilot and weather job is complete. Balance at 345 mm from leading edge at root stock control throws are good. I look forward to my maiden

Well I just picked one of these up for a great price, Any one got flight information?

I really expected this to be a very poplar Jet, I wonder why its not more poplar?

I think this may be more of the measure of RCU's popularity (as opposed to this F-100 model).

A LOT of old school guys dont seem to be posting, I know (at least in the western US) they are still building and flying.

He created a thread about the maiden. Sounded like it went well.

The plane flew well. I am working on CG a little. Had an issue with starter motor on my 120 and had to send in. So will have to wait to fly until motor comes back

Thanks Kevin. The F-100 looks like a nice jet but I have not heard much about it. Just wondering how it flies and if it has any vices. How was the kit quality? Any issues with it or the landing gear / retracts?

Don't remember anything to wrong. Just normal fiddly stuff. Rudder install was time consuming for me. Linkages tricky for such a small spot. Lots of trial and error on servo links

I am moving back a little. One thing I noticed was with four wing tanks it wanted to fly straight.. Hard to turn but I have changed in inboard tanks to missiles. Will let you know how that goes when engine gets back
