Sorry I didn't get info out sooner but it has been a really busy season for me.
Here are the facts.
Sept 8-10 Come as early as you want as the field will be open all week. I will be there Monday.
RV plugs 30amp service @ $15 per night. First come first service. About 12 plugs
No 50amp service - so disregard that if you see it on flyer

Thursday evening - Pizza - free
Friday morning breakfast - eggs-pancakes-sausage-bacon - free - by Dawn, Bob Price & Bob-O
Friday evening - BBQ plate - $10
Saturday morning breakfast - same as Friday morning
Saturday evening - shrimp boil -$10
There will be concessions for lunch Thursday, Friday, Sat.
You get one free lunch ticket when you register
Pilot registration $35
800 X 75ft paved runway
Plenty of shade under covered area and plenty of room for pop-ups
Primitive camping at field.
Got to www.hotmac.org for a flyer and directions
Contact Larry Garrett - 254-717-7929

Any questions - post them here or call one of the above

There are a number of hotels within 6 miles of the flying site.
Motel 6
Knights Inn
Hampton Inn
Fairfield
Best Western
La Quinta
Extended Stay
Sleep Inn (about 10 miles)
There are other hotels but can't think of them now
Call Dawn at Midway Travel - she can hook you up 972-264-4288
For those that don't know Dawn, she is a jet flyer also and will be at the event
Hope you can make it Alan.

I know this is a bit off topic. Went to a jet rally in Canada last week and here is some of the pictures. I didn't take them.
The picture of the F104 with the red tail, the Leonard and the Skyblazer F86's belongs to Scott Marr
Go to post #9 in the link below. Be sure and go to page 2 and see a 104 hoping over a glider sitting on the runway. The 104's rudder locked over to the left in flight and the pilot (Ali) really had to fight it back to the runway. When it touched down the rudder took over and Ali was just along for the ride

David,
Sounds like a plan !! We'll be bringing stuff too to cook out, and I'm sure Lynn will be bringing his usual Cajun goodies for the grill as well !! Sounds like a plan coming together !!
Danno
P.S. Bob-O, you will get nothing and like it !!!....
P.P.S... As for you Ronnie, you know what has to happen for you to get any portions !! ( Anything chocolate will be fine )
