Hi Joe, we're going to wait till Friday to do some flying, the weather Wednesday is suppose to be windy plus Vin and Ron are going to be tied up for most of the day. I can't wait to get this thing done so I can see how it flies; I think it's going to be a blast.

Wayne,

That bird is looking good I think it might just be big enough to fit Joe in it for the maiden

The light install looks great and the plane in general looks impressive.

The decals were made on the computer and printed on sticky paper........

For the new paint job I had Ralph Schneider at Tailor Made Decals in Germany design and produce.

[email protected]

Also....here is the new air inlet system........I extended the turbine intake thru the firewall. This is the best possible way to ensure that the motor gets cool air.

Fuse will get the white base coat tonite.

cheers,

NO1

Why to do that if the real plane (and the kit) has the space areas for the oil radiators?? that can work as cooling exit for the engine?

Arturo

Please see the pictures in the fuse at the center you can see two black squares, those are kind of grids

Installing the engine was a long slow process a lot of fitting and fiddling; here are some shots of the engine being fitted and the nose landing gear going in.

Ron & Wayne,

Thanks so much for the hospitality this weekend at the Sun Valley field. I enjoyed watching the Eurosport and Lightning fly. Disassembling/reassembling the Lightning was a hoot; too bad we didn't notice that wing mounting bolt as we could have saved some time. Wayne did a great job bringing the Lightning in after the flame out. Did you find the source of the air leak in the retracts?

Jim,

Yes it was a air line by a main retract. Tire had rubbed. Nice meeting you this last weekend and thanks for the help
