The 160 is overkill and just adding weight. I flew mine on K120 with tanks and missiles and it flew awesome and plenty fast with easy landings. I would rethink the 160???

Hi,
thank you,
our RC Field elevation here is about 3800 feet and always we lost about 10% of thrust ,
CG is about 330 -360 from leading edge , i'm going set with 345 , do you have any suggestion?
tnx again

Saeid, if you search my profile and look at threads I’ve started, I have a whole build thread from start to finish for my 100.

My 100 has a Jetcat Titan SE, which is a 160 N engine. I would not say it is over powered by any stretch. I think it is a perfect pairing.

Abedinpour…………...I will see if I have pictures. Unfortunately I had an issue with the sun and lost the picture on mine. No fault of the plane. I will probably do another as they fly awesome with tanks and missiles loaded on. My landing flaps went as far down until they hit tanks for landing. 15 degrees for take off

HI
the maiden flight has done , first flight was very scary because it was nose heavy and in banks i almost lost control ... but i was lucky,
after fix the CG , it flies very nicely and with BF140 i could go full power , half power is more than enough , with half power it flies really fast,
in 4th fly , landing gear failed and i had to do belly landing on dirt , i was lucky only damage was Exhaust , here the link for video of last flight in my instagram :

can i go faster or not? please let me know what do you think

What CG did you use for first flight. My recommended 345 was awesome. Did you use the 330 manual as starting point? If so I understand the nose heavy feel

Abedinpour - if I may ask where did you end up on the CG?, I am having the same issues, very nose heavy and in turns from what I am told even with 60-70% thrust (K140) it doesn't feel right and by applying a lot of elevator which it needs to hold the nose up.. wants to snap.

I flew mine with the tanks and on inboard I installed missiles. CG was 345 and flew well with 120. Maybe clean wing it acts a little different. I noticed that you had doors open with gear down. I used UP valve that allowed doors to be close gear up and down.

Im glad you had minimal damage on gear up landing
