Some photos of my builds. None of these were taken out of a box. All of them were custom built in some conglomeration. Some a little work some a year or more to fabricate.
Mostly Shermans ofcourse so I know most of yall will be bored lol.

Very cool, Rich. I like that little Patrol boat. Is that 1/16 scale? Is it RC? And those Como trucks look pretty good too, can you tell us a little bit more about those? Where'd you get that trailer? Do you still have any part of the Sherman that you bought from me? I believe that had a little redhead on it, didn't it?

Rich,
I too love those Shermans! Awesome collection. The rounded cast hulls look fantastic. The mini Hill Valley down town courthouse is too cool as well!

PBR: Woop Woop! Anyone...anyone care to water ski.....

Totolitoto: Awesome Sherman, and history of the real tank and Commander!

Well the PBR is a horizon product 1:18 scale MK2 Uniflite PiBBR. I put figures on it. I love them boat. Ive ridden twice on one. If i could afford a hole in the water i would have ine but they cost about 100k for a running one now.

the Hill Valley was 1:10 scale town by Proline RC truck accessories at their by the fire event last year.

the German truck set was built by a guy at my model RR club that collected 1:18 militaria and was getting out and i scored these. Mostly scrach bodies built on Indiana Jones toy series truck chassis.

i didnt include any of the projects underway. I havent touched the M47 build since January. Ive been building some narrow guage model rail road cars ive had backed up on the bench for a while.

Default Little build progress.

Good looking Shermans Rich and I still have one. I got busy and finally finished Tamiya Abrams number 2, good enough, to pass it on to the happy new owner. The Abrams hung around for a long while. John

Tamiya Sherman 105mm, older build.

Finished Tamiya Abrams build number 2, finally.

So I've been working on 1/6 lately (two 1/6 Dragon Sherman tanks not shown still in boxes plus two 1/6 jeeps). The Vantex Sherman runs great, so does the OD Stuart. The other Stuart is still stock, another project maybe next year? I have tooooooo many 1/24 tanks, the German tanks on the bottom shelf have funny looking attachments, they are infrared obstacle detection, they drive themselves around so I can shoot at them and they shoot back although blindly. There are many FOV 1/24 tanks like new in boxes, anybody still running these? 1/5 crawler, Hasbro halftrack (w/75mm gun not attached) another project. My 1/16 tanks, Sherman M4A3E8, Pershing, Tiger I and Panzer III are packed away, didn't want to pull them out, too much stuff to move. Unfortunately I haven't run my 1/16 stuff in YEARS!

Nick C - Awesome collection! I too have more 1/6 scale than 1/16. Here are my 1/16 scale.

Tamiya M4A3E8 with scratch build turret. This was made decades before FURY lol. I intended to use a BACKYARD ARMOR (anyone remember them??) conversion but their turret did not look right to me. Supposed to be an up-armored version from 11th AD. It has Pershing MFU (for more correct engine sound).

1/16 Tamiya Tiger 1 converted to late version, using King Tiger wheels + parts. Also decade before Torro, Heng Long, or Mato.

A member of this forum made them a while back. He also made heads of the German Tiger commander from Kelly's Heros, and Brad Pitt as the Fury commander. I have all three, but only Donald is finished so far. His RCU user name is ausf. I glued the head onto the Heng Long tank commander's body. I don't know if he is still making them or selling them.

Looks great!! Would love to pick one up like this ! I've seen were people make resin casting to copy small things like this. Would to add him to the collection!

Some obvious contenders like the Tracks, Wheels, Sprockets, etc... have/will be 3D Printed. Some I printed using a more conventional FDM 3D Printer and some I printed using an SLA one.
Big parts, like the hull and turret I'm still debating if I should CNC mill them myself on my 3-Axis CNC Mill, FDM 3D Print myself in sections or have it SLA 3D Print in one/very few piece(s) by a company.

The plan is to basically drop in Tamiya Parts like the Motors/Gearboxes and combine them with a 3rd Party Board like the Baier SFR-1-D. The "only" issue right now is getting my hands on the right material for the CNC approach and solving the issue regarding turned parts like for the axles and the barrel(s) - Where I live, companies don't really feel like getting paid for doing this kind of stuff so I may end up buying a Lathe myself but since I kind of don't like procuring halfassed machinery and I'd need access to a 400mm lathe for the barrel alone things are bound to get expensive and I currently don't have the funds for that 😅

Durahl- Nice Collection. I second the "nice work" on the E-100. Those wheels and tracks look excellent. 1/16"-1/8" machined aluminum sheet would make a nice hull. Super cool project.
