That fuel flow sensor doesn't have accurate readings at the flow rates our engines use. It's more suitable to fuel flow rates of turbine engines.

I believe sbus is compatible. I run sbus with an MSH Brain flight controller and they talk flawlessly. I've also used Arduino sbus library to read frsky sbus data.

On a slightly different topic, I replaced my transmitter with a frsky x18s. It's a nice transmitter that runs ethos instead of opentx....

A phase locked loop could get you 10 pulses out of a single rpm pulse fairly easily but your mechanical solution works so it's not wrong. Well done, bert.

to do that would require a rewrite of the controller code and i'd need to monitor the ignition pulse from teh RPM output and then calculate how long to wait until the engine is at the intake stroke...
