Are the sliding canopy rails 4 3/4 in. and will you have to lengthen the cockpit by 1 1/2 in. to accomadate the cockpit kit and the canopy ? Just wondering... seems I have seen it done...

Jeff,

Just a thought.... I had a motorcycle that did that.
I found an air leakat the intake, in it's case the carb gasket was bad. Also Maybe at the butterfly shaft or somewhere in the carb or...

That's good news... so will probably order the cockpit and wheel doors next week. And BTW: those are both good engines... I have the G62 in my Pitts. Love it and the way it runs.

I ordered the Sierra retracts a couple of weeks ago so theyshould be dropping in anytime...

This sounds like you have the rudder and tail wheel tied into the same servo and the tail wheel is restricting the rudder movement....it has happened before ?

Un hook the rudder at the rudder...

I got one for the Pitts S2a from Toni ClarK in Germany.... a few years ago. Along with a stainless muffler for the G-62. Great to deal with and the products are of the best quality.

Still have the top front end on mine too... sticks out like a sore thumb....... but did do a quick measure of my PittsS2a 1/3 Pilot Pitts with a G-62 in it, where it has 3/16 of an inch of the 2...
