Mike,

Could you Monokote over the wheel wells and lay up glass on top of this? That way, the outer door would follow the wing's contour...

Just out of curiosity, does the tech bulletin on Top Flite's site work to attach the gear door to the strut? I've thought about building this model for a few years now,but it seemed like such a shame...
