Ah, I guess my engine isnt sealed correctly then. Temperature rose to 360F once. Scared the hell out of me [X(]. Should I seal the backplate with some liquid gasket?

Quick starter box question.

The red and black receptacles/jacks on my starter box are in opposite places than the starter box pictured...

I got the sportwerks backplate on today. Am I supposed to seal it with some instant gasket?
Now I'm just waiting for DahlELama to login so I can seal the deal and scoop up his starter box.[&:]

Well, I took off my pullstart and examined the owb. It locks fine, and spins back fine. I held the pullstart on the backplate and pulled. It definitely had tension and it spun the flywheel. I let the...
