The Picco .28 P3 can be had for about $180 (ish) It probably one of the most power .28s out there. About 2.01 hp and 80 something ounces of torque. I think the OS .28 Truggy engine has just a touch...

First, think about whether you want to keep the stock ring and pinion gears. I believe they are different than the ones that come with the FRE kit. I think the gear ratio is 2.89 and with the FRE kit...

My truggy has the old style, longer, front swing arms. If I hadn't taken it to the track, wasted a day, tore it up, I wouldn't be mad.

Just order a RTR TR from CEN ($350), using the trade in program. I have a new Nova Rossi .21 that I'd like to drop in. Will the stock mounts work or is there other mounts that need to be purchased?...
